Willem and Gerrit van Breene met Piet Lazeroms in 1980 and from then on they are close friends.  A lot of children off of "308-duifje" (81- F 308) such as NL'82-350285 and  NL'83-1968089 were transferred. This was also the case with children off of  "048" (NL'79-7981048) such as  84-1145888 and 84-145889  who got a new home in Driebergen.. Later on they would be accompanied by  "544" (NL'88-2087544). It is especially this hen which is a basic bird of the very best Aarden origin in the stockloft in Driebergen.
But that is not all, on the contrary.
Every year carefully selected pigeons move from Zegge to Driebergen and visa versa. In the area the ‘Van Breene-type’ (Lazeroms) is well known now. A rather small bird with striking pigment in the feathering, a moveable eye and a head which shows personality.
The type of bird that gave Holland a great name all over the world as for long distance.
Mr van Breene is one of the very few who has this old family pure. Perfect the strain of Piet Lazeroms even more is what Willem van Breene is trying to do.


't Crackje - NL'86-493573
't Crackje (573) of Bros Van Breene is generally considered as one of the best racing hens ever in Western Europe. She is a daughter of NL'83-1968097, who is a grandson of NL'74-2385421. People who are familiar with the Lazeromsstrain will well know that it is an inbred to the 500 of  van Achtmaal. The faboulous ‘Klamper’of  Cor de Heyde is a son of the Golden breeder NL'74-2385421 and NL'83-1968089, a daughter of  308-duifje. The latter was bred off of  NL'79-1461678 (mother of Klamper) daughter 2nd National Barcelona  017 and granddaughter of the famous Oude Sproet (NL'66-2029053).

Vader Jakob of Bros Van Breene. He was bred of  NL'82-350285, son of 308-duifje and  NL'84-1145888, daughter of  "048" (NL'79-7981048) So 2 generations brother x sister, both off of a grandson of  ‘38 Jan Aarden’ and  Oude Sproet (66-2029053).
"048" was a fantastic racer but also grandfather of 2nd National  St.Vincent and winner of a car.

"Zwarte 94" is a fantastic breeder as well. He is a grandson of  5th National. Marseille, who is a brother of 1st National Dax (mated with sister of 6th Natiuonal  Bergerac, 11th NationaL . Ruffec and 109th National. St.Vincent. All the children of ‘Zwarte 94) won a top prize from Barcelona. Apart from that a daughter of  "Zwarte 94" is mother of 5th International Barcelona 1999.
